FS: Fricke Double-wide Motorized Drum Carder
FS: Used Fricke Electric Extra-wide Drum Carder with Fine and Coarse Drums.
Includes single-speed foot control pedal, forward and reverse switch, and two drums. There is some discoloration on the finer drum, but it has not transferred to my fiber while in use. FS: Canadian Production Wheel

Hello all,
I have this CPW that I bought several years ago, have used and loved, but now I have moved to the end of the earth, and after two years I have accepted I will never bring her with me.
So I’m going to be real with you that she’s a bit of a frankenwheel. I don’t know anything about wheel turnings, but it’s pretty obvious that the drive wheel and footman came off a bigger wheel and were put onto this one. The drive wheel rides reeeeeally close to the flat part (goodness I’m blanking out on what that’s called, embarrassing), and the footman it came with was about an inch too long. I actually sawed it off and drilled a new hole for it which I tie with a string. (I’ll get a picture when I’m home starting May 20th; these pics are from before I made this change). Also I’m pretty sure the treadle is not original as it’s very plain compared to the rest. It’s not elegant but it works.
No maker’s mark that I’ve ever found.
That pretty much sums up this whole wheel. Not elegant but goodness she spins some beautiful yarn. She had obviously been well-used before she came to me. The tilt tension works, the double drive is lovely. She goes at about 12:1 ratio; the two ratios on the flyer have always seemed too close to me to notice a difference. Double drive like all CPWs. Comes with one bobbin. Guide hooks are bent nails; one is broken off. The drive wheel has a wee bit of a wobble but it’s never given me a problem.
I am asking $200.
I will be in central Maryland from May 20th-June 26th, so it’s really only available in that time frame. I will drive up to two hours to meet you. Also: I’m driving to Albany and the Adirondack around June 3-8, and to Pittsburgh on June 13th and back on June 18th, so if you’re anywhere western MD, northern WV, south-central NY, west/central/south-central PA, I will drive it to you or meet you along the way.

FS: 3D Printed bobbins for Lendrum - Many Colors!
I’ve had many requests for 3D printed bobbins from folks without access to a 3D printer. No more mistaking your bobbins for other spinner’s.
I’ve been creating bobbin designs for a bunch of different wheels but right now only have Lendrum bobbins for sale. The solid colors are $20 each plus shipping. Please PM me for more information. The rainbow bobbins are $28 plus shipping due to the extra time it takes to change colors and the high number of wasted prints produced. The light green bobbin on the right GLOWS IN THE DARK…..I’ll try and get a picture of this tonight. Paypal only please.
I have multiples of each color if you want several alike (or different colors).
These bobbins, as most 3D printed ones work best with a nylon brake band. The grooves are pretty smooth and I’ve used them on my Lendrum with a cotton band but I just wanted to let you know.

FS: Vintage Ashford Traveler
I am selling my beloved vintage Ashford Traveler! Her name is Rose, and she deserves a home where she will be used more often than I can get to her. She is a single drive (scotch tension), single treadle wheel. I have upgraded her original flyer to a sliding hook flyer with 4 ratios, stained to match, so she can use the nice, higher capacity 90mm bobbins. She has some steampunk buttons adorning her where a former owner mistakenly put some screws. She will come with 4 standard and one 90mm bobbin, orifice hook, and spinner’s control card, as well as including her original flyer. I’m asking $300 for her, buyer pays shipping. I would prefer to sell locally if possible; I am in the San Francisco Bay area. If you are interested in adopting her, please message me!

FS CPW Wheel
I have a lovely Canadian Production Wheel that needs a new home. I love it but I am not a fan of the sliding tension system. It spins nicely, and is in good condition for it’s age. It has the original iron fittings, and the only rust I could see is a small spot on the treadle. It’s a double drive wheel.
It only comes with one bobbin, and one side of the flyer is missing it’s hooks. I did discover that it would be very easy to retrofit a Ashford Traveler DD flyer unit by changing out the leather pieces that hold the flyer assembly. It would be a super easy change, and also reversible if you wanted to take it back to the original flyer.
We think it was made around 1900 because of the fittings and type of tension system. The iron sliding tension wheels are fairly rare, and it’s great to have found one with the iron parts in really good shape.
I can only do local pickup for this wheel. Because of it’s age, I don’t want to ship it because it would likely break if they handled it too roughly
I’d like to get $375, but I would also look at a lower offer.
I live in Ponca City, OK, but I could transport it to Enid, or Stillwater, OK without too much trouble.
