AD: Spring 2017 Raw Dorset fleeces
Seven raw Dorsets fleeces (lambs, ewes and a ram) for sale. The fleece shearing took place late March of this year. The fleeces are coming from central and southern Indiana.
Down breeds fleeces are not prone to felting and make wonderful and hard wearing socks.
If you are interested in more information regarding the weights of the fleeces, color characteristics, lock length, etc. please send me a PM and I will gladly share a spreadsheet with you that I’ve put together with this information. I will also share price information upon request. The fleeces are priced to sell. Buyer pays for shipping and fleece.
The colors available are white and cream. The fleeces will include a 100% cotton zippered bag for storage. The zippered cotton bag comes with the fleece upon purchase.

FS Louet S-71 Oak Wheel
For Sale: Louet S-71 Oak Spinning Wheel, including 3 large capacity bobbins and detachable 52” windmill skinner, for $650 plus packing, shipping & insurance or I’m willing to meet you within a 200 mile radius of Denver. I’m selling because I’m just not keeping this wheel busy.
Gently used and well cared for, it has a lovely grain. Single-treadle is smooth, easy, and well balanced. Flyer hooks, bobbins and orifice are large to accommodate most spinning weights.
The detachable windmill skeiner is a slightly darker wood than the wheel (see photo). It attaches directly to the wheel using a knob (see photo). Note that this is different from the standalone skeiner that Louet currently manufactures.
There are no nicks, scratches or dings; no loose joints, nor any other defects. It does not need any refurbishment or parts.
