Spindolyn base and all three sizes of whorls for sale.
I purchased this a couple of years ago with the full intention of using it to spin while traveling in the car since I prefer a spinning wheel when spinning at home. As it turns out, spinning while riding (yeah, don’t drive and spin, ladies … just don’t) in the car gives me motion sickness. I completely forgot I had this until I started packing up items in my craft room.
I only used it for a short trial so other than sitting around for a couple of years it is in new condition.
I paid $82 + $8.65 shipping or $90.65 total. I’ll sell for $70.00 and pay for the shipping unless the buyer happens to be local to me and wants to pick it up, in which case I’ll be happy to knock off shipping costs.

I love this wheel, I learned to spin on this wheel, but I have falllen hard for antique wheels with all their quirks and speed. I purchased this wheel in a destash about 2 years ago. She’s in good condition and I have put many miles in her. She comes with ONLY 2 bobbins, 2 original whorls, original threading hook, new extra drive band, and the front maiden for the bulky plyer. The bulky plyer is not included ONLY the front maiden for it. It’s about a $35 value, and I’m throwing it in.
I’m asking $375 and that includes shipping in the continental US. PayPal only.

Nagy spinning wheel
I am selling my I. Nagy upright wheel. It is in excellent condition, has 4 whorls (2 large, 2 regular) and 4 bobbins. The lazy kate is attached, very convenient.
the wood is a very hard wood called Kauri, no longer available as it was becoming rare.
The wheel spins beautifully. I have taken good care of it, and it has not been used a great deal.It was built in 1975 by Mr. Nagy.

FS: Restored Antique Flax Wheel
Have a restored antique Saxony style flax wheel in need of a good home.
“Bette”, as I call her, is a fully restored late 18th/early 19th c flax wheel made and used in Dauphin Co PA. She’s been mended and restored by the excellent talents of The Merlin Tree (look them up!) who certified that while she’s a culmination of about three separate wheels, all the pieces are from the same era and region (late 18th/early 19th c, Dauphin Co, PA).
She has ”>” shaped hooks, typical of a flax wheel of the era. She’s great for lace weight, but bulkier fibers just don’t do well on her historic hooks. She has a rapid tread, but a lovely true spin. Only her treadle and drive shaft are contemporary. Bette also comes with three bobbins, and an 18th c flax spindle and arm (not pictured).
Perfect for historic homes, reenactments, living history, or personal use, Bette can be yours for $200 or best offer.
Not willing to ship her, sorry. We live in the Hershey, PA area. If that’s not far for you, PM me and we can arrange a time for a look-see and/or pick up.
