As much as I would like to keep and spin ALL the fibers, I need to be realistic and now that I have added weaving to my repertoire I need to let some pretties go.
I have 5 bumps (20 ounces total) of Southern Cross Fibre Formosa on Texel. These are all still in their original bags and are from a cat-free home with a dog who does not go near the fiber stash.

I have an Ashford Joy (sliding hook flyer) double-treadle wheel for sale, including some extras purchased along the way. I bought this wheel brand new from Eugene Textile Center in November 2010, so I’ve been the only owner of this wheel. The package includes:

This wheel offers ratios of 6, 8, 11 and 14, is single-drive Scotch tension, and has a built in Lazy Kate for two bobbins. It’s very compact (if you’re short on space at home) and extremely portable for spinning outside the home. I learned to spin on this wheel and I truly enjoyed using it.
In addition, I’m including an Ashford Competition Lazy Kate. This lazy kate is suitable for single and double drive standard and jumbo bobbins, and will tension up to three bobbins for plying.
All items are clear finished wood and in like-new condition. I’m asking $700 for the entire package, and I’m willing to work out delivery or meeting in Oregon/Washington/Northern California.

2 pounds of raw corriedale fleece from Ruppert’s corriedales. This was a covered fleece. I processed and spun about 3 pounds of this and it is simply amazing to work with. The finished yarn turned out beautifully. (You can see it in my handspun projects tab).
Photo is of unwashed locks. 5.5 inch staple. $80
Next, 4 pounds of raw white Targhee fleece. This was an uncovered fleece and does have some dirt and moderate VM that combs out easily $85
3 pounds of raw uncovered Cormo dark grey fleece. I processed and spun up a sample of this and it made the softest yarn I’ve ever touched. Moderate VM that combs out easily. $70
Last thing for now, 4 ounces of hand dyed merino top from Allonsy Fibers in Police Box Blue. $26

Hello everyone,
I have four beautiful English Angora babies in need of new homes. This little fluff balls were born on June 18 and are all set to explore what a new family has to offer. I am asking $75 per bunny. Each bun will come with a small baggy of food and hay as well as a four generation pedigree. More photos can be seen here. Parents are Maximal, a chocolate buck, and Odessa, an ermine doe. I am happy to answer any questions. This are inside, air-conditioned balls of fluff only.
Bunny #1 is a Seal buck. He is a really dark chocolate to almost black. He is the most laid back out of the group.
Bunny #2 is a Black doe. Her color is all the way through with no light spots.
Bunnies #3 and #4 appear to be light colored tort does. I call them the twins. Their color started out as lilac at birth but changed around 2 weeks.
ISO Scachr Ladybug wheel. I’m interested in the older model with the all wood bobbins. The onboard lazykate would be great as well.

I’ve been looking for a used drum carder for fine fibers and thus far every one I’ve found has been sold before I even contacted the seller. The cheapest new one I’ve found online is the Brother for $320, plus $50 shipping, which doesn’t include anytning (packing brush, doffer, clamp - nada).

For sale - Ashford Traditional single treadle with jumbo sliding hook flyer. (Crossposted in Spinner’s Marketplace)
I’m reluctantly posting my second wheel for sale. I set it up with the jumbo flyer because a single bobbin can easily hold an entire 4oz braid of roving or batt, and up to 8oz depending on the fiber. I’ve been able to ply 6-8oz skeins. I’ve spun sock weight through bulky with this flyer. This is a nice wheel for beginners, and Ashford parts and accessories are readily available. Although it’s single treadle, I’ll sometimes use both feet at once since the treadle is large enough.
