Hand-Made Solid Brass “Tibetan Singing Bowl and Base.” These brass bowls are the only product that I personally do not make. They are imported from India and are hand-made in a tradition that goes back 100’s of years. They make beautiful sounds when tapped with the spindles while spinning and are the perfect size and shape to adequately hold all but the largest of spindles. My bases are hand made from Baltic Birch and solid birch feet with commercial-grade non-skid pads attached (Latex Rubber). The base holds the bowl securely and is made to last a lifetime.

I have a Fricke Finest Drum Carder, 500 series, 72 teeth/sq inch, purchased in 2003 #1126, signed by Otto Strauch. It has been used gently. I have the batt picker, doffer, teasing tool, flicker brush and clamps and original documentation.

For additional info, please note the pictures below. This carder was purchased in 2003 and was under the Fricke/Strauch name and at the time there were 3 grades of cloths on the carders. 72, 98 and 128 as noted in the picture below. I believe this one is a 72 after counting the teeth, but I could be wrong in my count and it be the 98 or 128.
