I have an older Ashford Traveler for sale. It is a single treadle in good working order. I just have too many wheels! I’m asking $300 plus shipping. Once a deal has been decided upon, I will take it in and get an actual cost of shipping to the buyers location.

This guys name is Al Capone. He is a year old proven Satin Angora buck, fully pedigreed, and has a lot of color in his background. In his last litter he had a chocolate, fawn, blue, and white.

Such a sweet fella. This guy has very soft fur which you can pluck about every 3 or 4 months. He loves papaya and head scratches.

FS Louet s75dt. I am the second owner. First owner kept this wheel in her vacation home until it became her retirement home and she went down to one wheel. I used this wheel exclusively for plying. Someone with a Louet catalog, once categorized this as an s77dt because it came finished but I can’t say for certain if this is true. The original owner sold it as an s75dt. It comes with a bulky Woolee Winder and 4 bulky Woolee Winder bobbins, the original flyer, and a matching attachable skein winder. It also has luxurious custom made sheepskin treadle covers from the Etsy HareandThere studio. Hard to part with but I use my Woolee Ann electric wheel for plying these days. $850.

Wheel is located in East Hampton, CT. I would prefer not to ship but if it’s necessary, I will ship insured through Fed Ex pack and ship at buyer’s expense. I can also meet a buyer at the upcoming MA Sheep and Wool show on Saturday, May 28th.

I finally found a Rick Reeves Norwegian wheel to buy, so it’s time to pass along the other beautiful Reeves wheels I have.

I am asking $1600 for the 30” red oak Saxony, and it includes the matching Reeves lazy kate, 4 bobbins, 3 whorls and a new poly drive band. It even has the original wheel brake with handwritten instructions on the back and the original orifice hook.

The other Reeves wheel is the little “castle” wheel in red oak. It comes with the original distaff, 3 whorls one bobbin and the original orifice hook. Sorry, there’s no lazy kate. I am asking $685.

The hard-to-find John Meck Russian paddle combs are barely used and complete with combing stand/mount. They are 8” wide. Asking $415. There is a nick in the wood along one edge (see photo) but it doesn’t affect their performance.

For now, I am only looking for buyers who can pick up next weekend (May 28th and 29th) at the Great Lakes Fiber Show in Wooster, Ohio. I would like 10% deposit paid by PayPal to guarantee purchase, and then cash only for the remainder at pick-up. Anything still available after that can be packed and shipped at buyer’s expense with PayPal payment.

PRICE
I’m selling it all as a lot for $650. the wheel alone was bought brand new $800. the hand carder was $64.50 several of the batts included were $30 a piece. This is a steal. I just want it gone. I will accept cash or paypal. I will not ship this you have to be able to pick it up or meet me.

Smoke free home. The wheel was only used a handful of times and all the fiber was stored in a rubbermaid container.

Pair of gently used Strauch fine wool/fur hand cards, small/child size, in excellent used condition. Curved backs, measure 4.24” by 4” with 255 teeth/sq. inch. Carding cloth is clean and teeth are in like-new condition. Many people find the smaller half-size cards easier to hold and work with, especially if someone has wrist or joint concerns.
The cards are made of light poplar wood and the handles are designed to be comfortable to hold. Strauch products are very well made and they will last for years to come! Moving overseas and need to downsize my fiber supplies! Our home is smoke-free. These retail new for $77 plus S/H.

FS lendrum upright very fast flyer

I’m selling my lendrum upright very fast flyer, as I have sold my lendrum, so this is now up for grabs. It ONLY works on the upright model, and is not the 60:1 flyer I have for the saxony.
Ratios on this unit are 24:1. 32:1, 36:1 and 44:1. I use it for fine spinning. If you spin a lot of silk and/or cotton, it is excellent for that, but I quite comfortably spin wool and alpaca and in fact anything on it.
This ordinarily would come with one bobbin, but I have 3 extra bobbins for it, for a total of 4.
It’s in very good condition, and new would cost you £218. (£159.50 for the flyer and head, 19.50 for each extra bobbin)

I would like £175 for it, plus shipping.

I am happy to ship anywhere both UK and anywhere else, but if you would like to collect it, I’ll be in York till weds evening, and from then on in Southend in Essex. PM me :-)
