De-stashing my wheels. I bought this wheel in about 1990 or thereabouts - before Rick sold to Schacht. It was one of the last group of wheels he made “in house” before the sale to Schacht. I have used it only infrequently, as I prefer my 24”, so it is in virtually new condition. Non-smoking home. Comes with the original distaff, three bobbins, and a Reeves Bug tensioned lazy kate which I acquired later.
Asking $900. Located in Southern Wisconsin (Madison area).
Louet S51 DT wheel for sale with 2 bobbins, on board lazy kate, 3 bags of Louet Roving (1/2 lb each) and Louet adjustable niddy noddy (1 yd to 2 yd adjustable). $600 cash only.

Strauch Mad Batt’r Drum Carder
Selling my Strauch Mad Batt’r for $700. Looking to sell locally in Southern California. In great condition trying to downside as I may be moving soon. A wonderful drum carder that has been good to me. Will be in Los Angeles on July 27th if anyone around there is interested.
Kromski Polonaise
Selling my Beautiful Kromski Polonaise. It needs a bit of love as the wheel middle is scratched and the tension knob is chewed by the last owners dog. Also, needs bands for single drive as I have it set up in double drive. Because of all the love it needs, I’d like to sell it for $500. Like the other items I am selling I am looking to sell locally in Southern California. Will be in Los Angeles on July 27th if anyone around there is interested.

I am continuing to “thin the herd” of teaching tools as I move toward a year in an RV (under 50 days away now!)… in this post, I am selling hand cards, flickers, and blending boards.
All prices do not include postage - read through for a bonus offer :-) I take Paypal.
All hand cards were used by students in carding classes, but saw little use outside of that.
Hand cards:
Top row:
“No. 8 Wool Card”, teeth are good, cards in very good condition, coarse TPI - good for medium or coarse wools (I carded finer wools and exotics with these also, but I’m good with cards so you may want to take that into account) $35
Student hand cards, very good condition (possibly Schacht’s, but unstamped) $40
Bottom row:
Clemes & Clemes curved-back carders in good condition, marked L and R $40
Clemes & Clemes curved-back carders in good condition, there is a dark spot on the wood of the one showing its back (it shows on both sides, so it’s “in the wood”, not a marking on the surface) $40
Clemes & Clemes straight-back carders in good condition, marked L and R $40
All handcards come with their cut-jean-leg covers (shown underneath each pair), and if you request it, one of the wooden knitting needles for rolling punis.
Now, on shipping handcards -- if you request it, I will ship in the US, in a Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate box (which is $14.35 in the US), and fill the rest of the box with washed (as long as it lasts) or raw (after that) fleece of the following breeds (let me know your preference, and yes, wool will be in a plastic bag so it doesn’t get all over the handcards): Shetland (only have washed), RomneyXCotswold (only washed), Llama (might be only raw), Alpaca (only have raw of that), Soay (washed and raw), and I think there’s some angora (washed) - at no extra cost to you. Let me know if you want this “packing special” and which of the breeds you’d like, or if you’d like a mix. Please note I only have so much of each, I will pack in the order they are paid for.
And you may even want to add a flicker to your box; I have 4 basic flickers with flat maple handles, the two on the left are sturdy and in good condition, asking $10 each; the 2 on the right have “weaker” teeth like you find on burnishing tools so are somewhat bent on the edges, asking $5 each (prices do not include postage).
Yes, if you want a bit of washed fleece with these I will include it, or you may want a flicker in your flat rate box with your hand cards & wool :-)
An Ashford blending board, it has seen moderate use, mostly in classes by me (students tended to have their own!) as well as my personal use. This was my first blending board, I really like their model. In very good condition. It is complete in the original box with all of its accessories, which is how I will ship it to you: keel & screw, burnishing tool, brush, doffing sticks, all $150 plus postage:

A “Siren of the Skeins” blending and hackle kit in its own unique box. This includes a blending board, a hackle, a comb (so you can comb off the hackle or open locks), a brush for the blending board, doffing sticks, and clamps (for board or hackle), and diz. This is in like-new condition, I bought it but have not used it. It is in its own carry-case, the diz is on the handle. Originally purchased for $275, asking $250 plus postage:

This is the box closed, showing the diz also:

The Siren kit will have to be boxed, if requested, I will add two “blending kits” with it that include wool top, silk, and other odds and ends for hackle and blending board fun, at no additional charge except the impact on postage.
Note, I will ship to Canada also, but let me know when you PM me so I don’t prep things in a priority mail box…
Let me know if you’d like more information on any of these :-)
PM me with requests, I will update this post as things sell. Thank you!
$350 + shipping This is a used double treadle dark green Roadbug made by The Merlin Tree in Albany, VT. It was purchased new by my mom in 2008 or so, and passed along to me in 2016. It comes with 3 Merlin Tree Bobbins, 3 whorls, orifice hook, oil bottle (needs a refill), standard hook flyer, and removable left treadle.
This is a great compact travel wheel! I’ve enjoyed my time spinning on it, but I recently purchased an Ashford Traveler, so have decided to part with it.
Pick-up in the Eugene/Springfield, OR area, or I will ship it to you carefully packaged (I work as a professional spinning wheel shipper!) via FedEx. Paypal payment preferred.
Thank you!

For Sale: Used Louet S17, $300, good condition!
I love this wheel but I acquired a Louet S10 with similar features so I don’t need this one any more. It is a single-treadle, Irish tension wheel with onboard lazy kate and three bobbins. It can be outfitted with all the same accessories as the S10 (such as adding an Art Yarn Flyer for novelty yarn or a high-speed flyer for fine spinning). I have used it to spin yarn from fine (cross laced the flyer) to thick (great for singles), and it’s great for plying. I’ve replaced the brake and drive bands. It is an unfinished wheel which is fine with me; I have used Howard’s Wood Feed and Wax to keep it nice. I live near Philly and would be happy to drive an hour or so to meet a buyer and could throw in 4-8 oz of fiber for a beginner lacking a stash! Prefer not to disassemble to ship it - yet!
Ratios are:
1:5.5- For use with heavy yarns and slow spinning
1:7.5- Perfect for medium yarns
1:10.5- used with fine yarns or fast spinning Specifications: Main wheel: 50 cm (19 3/4”) Ratios: 1:5.5, 1:7.5, 1:10.5 Orifice: 12 mm (1/2”) Height: 70 cm (27 5/8”) Weight: 5 kg (11 lb)
FOR SALE

I purchased a brand-new hackle from a retailer this spring. I have used it for the past couple of months and come to the conclusion that my craft table needs a narrower width hackle. Please note: you will need 2 c-clamps (I bought mine from my local HomeDepot).
This 18 inch hackle is in great “like-new” condition. Retail $200 shipped.
I am selling this for $180 including US domestic shipping. PayPal only, please.
Please PM me if interested.
For sale, $500 plus shipping. Free pickup near Louisville, KY. Retails for $675.

I have one fleece from a Barbados Blackbelly (that’s what I was told, but I haven’t met the sheep in person) to give away to someone who feels like experimenting. Actual weight of the fleece is 1 lb. 13 oz. You pay the postage via PayPal, and I’ll ship at the cheapest possible price.
The photos show the weather side (#1 and #2) and cut side (#3). There’s quite a lot of down there, but of course you’ll have to deal with loads of hair. The color is medium tan - you could call it fawn. There’s a lot of lanolin, too.
FS: Majacraft Rose plus accessories. Asking $1700 plus $100 for shipping it. I live in Beckley WV and am willing to drive a bit to meet you if that’s preferable. It has a lace flyer with two bobbins, a bulky flyer plus 3 bobbins, standard delta flyer, fine flyer, standard woolee winder with 4 bobbins, bulky woolee winder with bobbin, lazy Kate, three whorls and I’ll even toss in 21 oz of Ashland Bay Corriedale. I’d rather sell as a complete package if I could. It does have a couple of nicks on the treadles and the lazy Kate. It was made in 2017 and I bought it new. Please PM me with any questions and thank you for looking!
I have three SpinOlution bobbins (4oz) available for sale. They are intact and have hardly been used. I’m asking $90 US or $120 CAD, which is a 25% discount from the original prices. Shipping not included. I’m in Canada, but I will be travelling in the US between July 28-30 and can ship from there to reduce the cost.
Thanks for checking!
