I am selling a ST unfinished Hitchhiker spinning wheel. I bought it at an estate sale thinking I would fix it up but am selling since it’s been a couple of years and I haven’t yet!
The wheel comes with two bobbins. Everything seems to be in good working order though a bit noisy. The wheel has a cracked flyer so either it needs a new one or potentially could be fixed with wood glue.
The wheel needs a new tension knob which can be purchased from Merlin Tree for $5. The current one needs to be removed since it is cracked/stuck.
I don’t want to ship the wheel since I want the buyer to see the condition. $150 as-is. Local pick-up near Brattleboro, VT or I can bring it to SPA in Freeport, ME this weekend. (I think that Merlin Tree is vending there so you could see what it needs from them)
