Recently bought an alpaca fleece and thought my hand cards would suffice - I was wrong. I’m looking to rent a drum carder - for fine fibers - from someone in the Seattle area. I can come to you and process the fleece there if you don’t want to see it leave you premises with a stranger. I’ve seen fiber shops rent them out by the hour but can’t find any locally. If you have one or know of someone/someplace that rents them please let me know.
